The Audible Local Ledger (ALL) is an affiliate of the Massachusetts Radio Reading
Service , a special state-wide radio information network that provides the
reading of daily newspapers, current periodicals, shopping guides, best
selling books, calendars of community events and other material previously
available only in print. ALL broadcasts this material over closed-circuit
radio stations, cable television audio channels and on secondary audio
program channels of television stations to the blind and
print-impaired residents of Cape Cod, the Islands, and southeastern Massachusetts.

Our Mission

For 24 hours a day, ALL broadcasts a combination of
network and local programming for listeners on Cape Cod and the Islands,
plus New Bedford, Fall
River, Wareham
and part of Carver. The slogan of ALL is "ALL the news that is going
on in our home town."
Listeners hear the Boston
Globe, Boston Herald, USA
Today, the Christian Science Monitor and the Wall Street Journal read on
ALL. This programming is provided by the Talking Information
Center (TIC) Network
.
Local papers such as the Cape Cod Times, the New Bedford
Standard Times, the Falmouth, Mashpee and Bourne Enterprises, the
Barnstable Patriot, the Cape Cod Chronicle, the Cape Codder, Upper Cape
Codder and the Wareham Courier are read at the ALL studios in Falmouth.
ALL can simultaneously broadcast different programs to
the Upper Cape
and points west, and to the Outer
Cape.
ALL on Community TV: ALL's reading of the Mashpee
Enterprise is now available on Mashpee Community Television, Channel 3, on
Thursdays at 1:30PM and Mondays at 1:30PM. The Falmouth
Enterprise
is read over FCTV-13 on Mondays at 7:30AM, Wednesdays at 7:00AM and
Saturdays at 12:30PM and 7:00PM.
Programs produced at ALL include: interviews with
celebrities and politicians; discussions of political issues; poetry
readings, "Elementary My Dears," by and for elementary school
students; "Seniors Scene," events and news of interest to
seniors; "The Story Hour," featuring Cape authors; "Cape
Codders Abroad," Cape Codders tell of their travels; "Potpourri;"
"Music and the Blind" plus, "Browsing with Brown."
